Short version: QuietEar does not collect any data. Period.
QuietEar does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The app has no user accounts, no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking of any kind. Your tinnitus profile (matched frequency and preferences) is stored only on your device and never leaves it.
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Purchase receipts are validated on-device using Apple's StoreKit framework.
All sounds are generated on your device in real time. QuietEar does not use the microphone and never requests microphone access.
No data is shared with third parties, because no data is collected.
QuietEar is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. If your tinnitus is new, one-sided, pulsatile, or worsening, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
